BANGKA BELITUNG -- PT Timah Tbk through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program distributed 200 sacrificial animals to the community in PT Timah's operational area in the momentum of Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijriah. These sacrificial animals have been distributed to beneficiaries on Monday-Wednesday (26-28/6/2023).
These sacrificial animals were handed over symbolically to the Regional Government and delivered directly to the village.
Sharing sacrificial animals is an annual routine activity carried out by PT Timah Tbk during Eid al-Adha. This is the company's commitment to share happiness with the community in the company's operational areas.
In 2022, members of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding distributed 239 of them to the community in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Riau Province, and Riau Islands Province.
Whereas in 2021, PT Timah Tbk has also distributed 203 cows. In 2020 TINS ??also spread 193 sacrificial animals to the community.
To meet the needs of sacrificial animals, PT Timah Tbk supplies cattle from PT Timah Agro Manunggal (TAM), a subsidiary of PT Timah Tbk, and empowers local breeders in each of the company's operational areas.

One of the mosques that received sacrificial animals from PT Timah Tbk, namely the West Bangka Nurul Iman Mosque. Chairman of Majid Nurul Iman, Homsah said that every year the Nurul Iman Mosque always receives sacrificial animal assistance from PT Timah Tbk.
"Every year the Nurul Iman Mosque always receives sacrificial animal assistance from PT Timah, these sacrificial animals will be distributed to the Pait Jaya hamlet community and its surroundings.

Likewise, East Belitung Deputy Regent Khairil Anwar said, PT Timah Tbk continues to carry out its commitment to distribute sacrificial animals in East Belitung, especially in sharing them with the community.
"Every year we always monitor, PT Timah Tbk always gives sacrificial animals every Eid al-Adha," said Khairil Anwar.
According to Khairil, the distribution of sacrificial animals had a very positive impact on the surrounding community.
"Hopefully the assistance of this sacrificial animal will continue in the future," he said.
One of the recipients of the sacrificial animals from PT Timah Tbk, Surau Darun Na'im Darat Mata Air Sawang Village, Karimun Regency.
Surau administrators said that with the assistance of sacrificial animals from PT Timah Tbk, the people around Surau Darun Na'im could also celebrate the Sacrificial Day.
"In Surau Darun Na'im no one sacrificed, so we are very happy with the assistance of sacrificial animals from PT Timah Tbk. So the community can feel it, I represent Rt. 003 and also the Management of Surau Darun Na'im thank PT Timah Tbk," he said.
Empower Local Breeders
PT Timah Tbk in fulfilling the needs of sacrificial animals which will be distributed to the community also empowers local breeders.
This is part of PT Timah Tbk's efforts to support local breeders so that their livestock products can be sold easily.
One of the local breeders from Mekar Jaya Village, Enal said, he keeps as many as 25 cows, some of which are raised from infancy and there is a fattening process from Madura Island.
According to Enal, PT Timah Tbk has subscribed to buy its livestock for four years.
"Fortunately PT Timah Tbk can help us because PT Timah Tbk always pays cash," he said.
