PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah continues to be committed to improving the quality of life of the community and employees through various sustainable health programs.
The health program implemented by PT Timah has been going on for a long time, even in 2020 PT Timah provided special health services for the community through Healthy Cars.
Healthy Cars is PT Timah's initiative to improve the quality of community health around the mine. This health service travels to various areas to provide health services to the community.
Through Healthy Cars, PT Timah brings access to health services closer to the community. Apart from that, it is also for education about healthy lifestyles to prevent various potential diseases.
PT Timah has three fleets of Healthy Cars stationed in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province and the Riau Islands Province.
Mid January-August 2024, PT Timah's Healthy Car has visited 31 points spread across two provinces. With a community serving of 3,230 residents.
In 2023 PT Timah's Healthy Car visited 42 points with a total of 4,371 people served. Meanwhile, in 2022, Mobil Sehat will serve 3,820 people at 40 points in the company's operational areas.
Not only Healthy Cars, PT Timah also often provides education about handling stunting for communities in the company's operational areas. This is an effort to support stunting alleviation.
