Commitment to Distribute CSR, PT Timah Tbk Receives an Award from the Regent of Belitung
BELITUNG- The Belitung Regency Government gave an award to PT Timah Tbk Belitung Production Unit. The award was given for PT Timah Tbk's participation, concern and consistency in implementing the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) corporate social responsibility (TJSLP) program in Belitung Regency in 2021.
The award was handed over by Young Policy Analyst in the Economics and Natural Resources Division, Taty Iswari to a representative of PT Timah Tbk Kapala UPB Secretariat Section Muhammad Ereza Priadie in the meeting room of the Belitung Production Unit office in Lenggang Gantung, Wednesday (01/02).
Taty Iswari said that the award was given by the Belitung Regency Government to PT Timah Tbk as a form of gratitude for the participation, commitment of MIND ID Mining Industry holding members in the CSR program.
"So PT Timah Tbk has participated with its CSR for the people of Belitung Regency," said Taty Iswari.
According to Taty, so far the role of PT Timah Tbk has been very good in its CSR program. He hopes that in the future it will be further enhanced.
"Currently it is already good, but with it it is better and more oriented to the future," he said.
Then Taty also explained that the award was for performance in 2021, because in 2022 the data obtained had to be at the end.
"The indicators for submission in 2021 and 2022 are based on data," he explained.
Therefore, he mentioned what PT Timah Tbk had done very well in distributing CSR to the people of Belitung Island.
"It's good, but hopefully it will be even better in the future, especially for people affected by mining activities," he said. (**)
