PANGKALPINANG – In celebration of its 29th anniversary, PT Dok dan Perkapalan Air Kantung (PT DAK) remains committed to making a meaningful contribution to society through its corporate social and environmental responsibility programs.
As part of its anniversary celebration, PT DAK distributed social assistance to several elementary schools and orphanages in Pangkalpinang during a reception event at PT DAK’s Shipyard on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
Among the recipients of this assistance were SD Negeri 66 Pangkalpinang, SD Negeri 22 Pangkalpinang, and Annisa Orphanage Pangkalpinang.
Edia Rusdi, a representative from the Annisa Orphanage Foundation, expressed gratitude for PT DAK’s ongoing support, noting that the company has been providing aid to the orphanage for the past 15 years.
“Alhamdulillah, PT DAK has consistently supported our children with assistance for the past 15 years and continues to do so,” he said.
“We hope that PT DAK will always be blessed, and on behalf of the orphanage, we extend our heartfelt thanks,” he added.
On a similar note, Hanafi, a teacher at SD Negeri 22 Pangkalpinang, shared that this was the first time their school had received assistance from PT DAK. He expressed hope that such programs would continue in the future.
“This is our first time receiving support from PT DAK, and we are very grateful. The aid has benefited 65 of our students, and we hope this initiative will grow and continue beyond this occasion,” he explained.
“We wish PT DAK continued success, smooth operations, and lasting prosperity,” he added. (*)
