Commemorating the 5th Anniversary of MIND ID, PT TIMAH Tbk Holds Social Services at the Putra Muhamadiyah Gantung Orphanage

BELITUNG TIMUR - Putra Muhamadiyah Orphanage, Hanging Village, Hanging District, East Belitung Regency received compensation from PT TIMAH Tbk in commemoration of the 5th Anniversary of MIND ID Mining Industry Holding, Wednesday (2/11/2022).

Social Service in the form of providing compensation and school supplies for orphanage children.

In addition to providing assistance, PT TIMAH Tbk also shared the joy of holding coloring together for orphanage children.

Additionally, the HR Director of PT TIMAH Tbk, Yennita, who was present at the event, told the story of "Honest Buya". The orphanage children listened solemnly and cheerfully.

HR Director of PT Timah Tbk, Yennita, said that her party was grateful to be able to share happiness with the children of the orphanage in commemoration of the 5th Anniversary of MIND ID.

According to Yennita, PT TIMAH Tbk joined MIND ID in 2017 along with Antam, PT Bukit Asam, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Inalum, PT Timah Tbk, and Vale.

"This social service is MIND ID's commitment to providing the widest possible benefit to the community, especially in the operational areas. Apart from here, we also carry out 5 other operational locations," he explained.

He hopes that this activity can be useful for the orphanages to support the Muhammadiyah orphanage's activities.

"We ask for prayers so that PT Timah Tbk and MIND ID can continue to carry out their mandate to manage natural resources, in order to realize the welfare of the community," he said.

Meanwhile, Putra Muhammadiyah Orphanage Arsita Rahayu (17) said he was very happy to receive school equipment. This help is really needed.

"Alhamdulillah, I am very happy and helpful, I will immediately use the assistance," said the student at MA Muhammadiyah Hanging.

He hopes that PT TIMAH Tbk will continue to help their orphanage because they really hope for help from PT TIMAH Tbk.

The administrator of the Putra Muhamadiyah Orphanage, Firman Triyono, said that they fostered 20 foster children who were in grades 6 SD to 12 SMA.

So far, they have not had a regular donor, so they still take advantage of alms from the community.

"We thank PT TIMAH Tbk, and this assistance is handy for their school needs," he explained.
