Commemorating the 25th Anniversary of Karimun Regency, PT Timah Collaborates with Kundur Barat District Government to Provide Free Healthcare Services to the Community

KARIMUN – PT Timah's Mobile Health Unit returned to Kundur Barat District, Karimun Regency, to offer free healthcare services to residents.

This time, PT Timah's Mobile Health Unit's presence is a collaboration between PT Timah and the Kundur Barat District Government as part of the activities celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Karimun Regency.

The free healthcare services provided by PT Timah's Mobile Health Unit at the Kundur Barat District Office on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, were met with enthusiasm from the community.

84 residents from Kundur Barat District took advantage of PT Timah's free healthcare services. Since early morning, they had gathered at the Kundur Barat District office.

In addition to the free healthcare services, the event also featured a joint exercise session, a traditional Malay dance competition (for kindergarten and preschool children), and other entertainment activities.

Yusufian, the Head of Kundur Barat District, expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between PT Timah and the Kundur Barat District Government in providing healthcare services to the community. This marks the second time the Mobile Health Unit has visited the Kundur District Office.

“This free healthcare initiative is part of the activities celebrating the 25th anniversary of Karimun Regency. The Kundur Barat District Government collaborated with PT Timah to provide these healthcare services,” he said.

He noted that the local community was highly enthusiastic about receiving treatment from PT Timah's Mobile Health Unit, as it is a much-anticipated program for the residents.

“Alhamdulillah, the community's enthusiasm for healthcare services is quite high. This is the second time it has been held in Kundur Barat District. It is usually also conducted in the villages within Kundur Barat,” he added.

Yusufian further mentioned that PT Timah frequently collaborates with them to carry out various social programs, the benefits of which are already being felt by the community.

“PT Timah’s presence in Kundur Barat District has indeed benefited the community. Coordination has been smooth, and many activities have been successfully carried out together,” he concluded. (*)
