WEST BANGKA -- The Muntok Tin Employees' Wives Association (IIKT) held a Healthy Walk in order to celebrate RI's 78th Anniversary, Sunday (13/8/2023).
Hundreds of participants attended this Healthy Walk, including employees and their families, PPKWT, and partners of PT Timah Tbk at the Muntok Metallurgical Unit.
The participants took a healthy walk around the Metallurgical Unit Complex, Unmet Beach to the metallurgical unit offices.
The Committee Chairman and IIKT Chair for the Mentok area, Dini Wiyono, said that the Healthy Walk commemorates the 78th Indonesian Independence Day and serves as a friendly gathering for the employees' families.
"Apart from commemorating the 78th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, it also fosters friendship among our employees' families. This activity is supported by PT Timah by providing consumption and door prizes," he explained
The participants enthusiastically participated in the Healthy Walk, especially the children from Kindergarten to High School. From start to finish, there was a spirit of Healthy Walking.
"Very happy, being able to go out with my mother and father and friends also get prizes," said Rhizki, a student at SDN 22 Mentok.
