SOUTH BANGKA -- PT Timah collaborated with the Rias Village Nahdatul Ulama (NU) Branch Management to provide compensation for dozens of orphans in the South Bangka Regency.
Compensation for orphans was given by PT Timaj together with the Rias Village NU Branch Management in conjunction with the commemoration of Orphans' Day which falls on 10 Muharram 1446 Hijriah.
A total of 57 orphaned children received compensation which was carried out at the Al-Muhajirin 2 Mosque, Settlement Unit B Hamlet (SP. B), Rias Village, South Bangka Regency, Tuesday (16/7/2024).
The Head of Rias Muslim Village appreciated the contribution of PT Timah and all parties who had held this activity.
"I am very grateful and have the highest appreciation for all parties who have participated in this activity," he said.
He hopes that in the future this kind of synergy can continue to exist. Moreover, activities like this are very good in the social sector.
Meanwhile, Rias Village NU Secretary Imam Syaifudin was grateful for the participation and concern of PT Timah and donors who had supported this activity.
"Thank you to PT Timah and the donors who have helped with this activity, hopefully in the future PT Timah can continue to be present among the people of Rias Village, to contribute to positive activities in our Village," hoped Imam. *)
