Commemorating National K3 Month, PT Timah Tbk Provides Health Services for the People in Belinyu

BANGKA - PT Timah Tbk's healthy car provides health services for residents around Mantung Village, Belinyu sub-district, Bangka Regency, Tuesday (07/02/2023).

PT Timah Tbk's Health Car Service was carried out in conjunction with the Occupational Safety and Health Month commemoration ceremony (K3 Month) which was carried out by the Bangka Marine Production Unit.

In addition to free health checks, PT Timah Tbk also provided 135 packages of rice for residents who had their health checked.

The excitement of the activity was also attended by hundreds of employees and also the local community who carried out health checks.

General Manager of PT Timah Tbk, Ahmad Syamhadi said, PT Timah Tbk is part of the community and has become part of the history of Bangka Belitung. Therefore,
PT Timah Tbk is committed to contributing to society.

"Through the commemoration of the National K3 month which is centered at UPLB and together with the Healthy Car so that it can be enjoyed by the surrounding community. We also want the surrounding community to be healthy too, so we do this activity simultaneously," he said.

Meanwhile, Suprapti (73), one of the residents who took part in having her health checked in the healthy car, was also very grateful to be able to take part in this activity.

"Very happy after doing the inspection here, the service was friendly - friendly. Hopefully, it will be even greater, and more lively to help the community and of course next year we can meet again. Thank you PT Timah for protecting us," said Suprapti.

Apart from that, this middle-aged woman also shared that she had been experiencing pain in her joints for a long time.

"Thank God, the doctor gave me medicine in the form of a cream and also some medicines. I have pain in my knee, and I have experienced this for about 5 years. And during that time I had to go back and forth to the hospital in Sungailiat every month to inject fluids. But now it's not anymore," he said.
