EAST BELITUNG - PT Timah held various internal and external activities to commemorate the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) month.
Apart from holding the K3 rally, various competitions and campaigns regarding K3. In commemorating National K3 Month, we also held health services in Healthy Cars for the community and blood donors.
The health service was carried out in conjunction with the K3 Call held by the Belitung Operational Area (Wulasi), at the GBT Lenggang yard, on Wednesday (07/02/2024).
PT Timah Tbk recorded that there were 26 blood donor participants, and dozens of people took part in the service and took advantage of free treatment in PT Timah Tbk's healthy car.
The healthy car service was attended by people in three villages in Gantung District, namely Selinsing, Longgang, and Gantung Villages. This healthy car service with free medical treatment is the first to be implemented by PT Timah Tbk in 2024.
One of the donors, Syahmadi, said that he regularly carried out blood donations." So donors are routine, and earlier we had an invitation to the K3 roll call so there were also donors at PT Timah Tbk," he said.
He said that donating blood makes the body healthier, besides that it can help people in need. Then, he appreciated, PT Timah Tbk also helped supply blood at PMI East Belitung.
"PT Timah Tbk really cares about public health. Thank God, besides donating blood, there are healthy cars," he said.
Syahmadi hopes that PT Timah Tbk will regularly carry out donor actions along with healthy car services.
"It can help the community, especially donors, to be closer," he said.
Likewise, one of PT Timah's employees who donated blood, Indra Jaya Permana said, he carries out routine activities, especially when there are donor activities.
"So if we normally donate, there are many benefits, especially in terms of health and can help others," he said.
He hopes that in the future, every national K3 rally will always carry out donor actions and healthy car services so that they can provide benefits to the community.
Meanwhile, one of PT Timah's healthy car participants, Yuhanarasip from Lenggang Village, said that he had participated in PT Timah Tbk's healthy car service twice.
In fact, he already has a medical card for PT Timah Tbk's healthy car service.
"This is my control, there are complaints of blood pressure and cholesterol. Previously it was only uric acid and cholesterol," he said.
Yuhanarasip said that PT Timah Tbk's healthy car service continues to provide the best service to the community.
"Good service, and hopefully this healthy car will continue," he explained.
Likewise, Gantung resident Sheren appreciated the healthy car service, especially the service from officers to the medical team.
"Thank God, treatment here is very comfortable and we were given medicine," he said.
According to him, he found out about the existence of the healthy car service from social media. Moreover, according to him, the service in the car was very clean and comfortable.
"Hopefully this healthy car will continue to exist, at least once every 6 months," he said. (*)
