EAST BELITUNG - PT Timah has become a part of the East Belitung Regency community, which celebrated its 21st anniversary on Friday (26/1/2024). Various activities were carried out to enliven the 21st anniversary of East Belitung Regency. PT Timah also participated in the celebration of East Belitung Regency.
PT Timah Tbk supported and successfully organized a mass walk and aerobics event as part of the 21st-anniversary celebrations of East Belitung Regency on Sunday (28/1/2024). Thousands of East Belitung residents enthusiastically participated in the walk, which the Regent of East Belitung, Burhanudin, flagged off at Taman Kota Manggar.
The Chairman of the committee, Mathur Noviansyah, East Belitung Regency Secretary, stated that PT Timah is one of the pioneers in contributing to the development of East Belitung. Historically, PT Timah has been a key partner of the local government in implementing various programs, including social and economic programs for the community, even before the establishment of the East Belitung Regency.
"The presence of PT Timah Tbk aligns with our expectations, working together to color the 21st anniversary of East Belitung Regency in 2024," said Mathur.
He mentioned that this year, PT Timah provided the main prize, a motorcycle unit, making it very attractive to the people of East Belitung.
"Of course, PT Timah's contribution in providing the main prize for the people in the East Belitung Regency anniversary is highly anticipated and welcomed with great enthusiasm because the presented prize has significant value," he explained.
He appreciated PT Timah because, in the celebration of East Belitung Regency's anniversary, PT Timah collaborated to make the event a success.
"We feel that coordination and cooperation with PT Timah Tbk in the celebration of East Belitung Regency's anniversary this time was very easy and resulted in a very positive synergy for the success of the entire series of events," he stated.

The main prize from PT Timah was received by Yusdianto (47), a resident of Buding, Kelapa Kampit. He was delighted and surprised when his lucky draw coupon won the grand prize.
He never dreamed of winning the top prize but always hoped to receive the main prize along with thousands of other participants.
"I was surprised when the committee read my coupon number. I am very happy because this is the first time I have won a motorcycle and I never expected it at all," he said.
Yusdianto knew that the main prize resulted from PT Timah Tbk's support and collaboration with the East Belitung Regency Government to make the 21st-anniversary celebration a success.
