BANGKA – PT Timah Tbk, in collaboration with the Indonesian Fishermen Association (HNSI) Bangka Regency, organized a nutritious meal program at SDN 04 Puding Besar, Bangka Regency, on Tuesday (17/12/2024).
PT Timah has been actively conducting nutritious meal programs for students across various Bangka Belitung Islands Province regions. This initiative serves as a concrete step by the company to support President Prabowo’s vision of enhancing the quality of human resources.
M. Rosidi, Principal of SDN 04 Puding Besar, expressed that both students and teachers enthusiastically welcomed the nutritious meal program that PT Timah and HNSI facilitated.
“Alhamdulillah, the children are very enthusiastic about this program. There are 283 students enrolled at SDN 04 Puding Besar, and they all attended today. This demonstrates the children’s excitement,” he said.
Rosidi further emphasized that the program helps prevent children from consuming less nutritious foods.
Meanwhile, Lukman, Head of HNSI Bangka Regency and also a teacher at SDN 04 Puding Besar, shared that the teachers were equally enthusiastic about the program.
“As the Head of HNSI Bangka Regency and a teacher here, I observed that the teachers were very supportive and excited about the nutritious meal program. Since this school is far from the sea, the children were thrilled to know that fish was on the menu,” he said.
PT Timah continues to collaborate with various organizations and community groups to enhance community welfare, supporting the vision of a Golden Indonesia by 2045. (*)
