SOUTH BANGKA - PT Timah Tbk's 'Healthy Car' journey continues to consistently provide health services for the community around the mine. This time, the bus that was transformed into a healthy car returned to visit residents of Keposang Village, Toboali District, South Bangka Regency, Thursday (08/12/2022).
During this second visit, PT Timah Tbk's healthy car was attacked by the public to carry out free examinations and treatment. Residents flocked to the village office.
"We are waiting for the arrival of this healthy car, and it is evident that today there are very many queues. Some even haven't got a queue number," said Heny Marlena, a resident of Harapan Mulia Hamlet.
According to Heny, this is the first time she receive health services in this healthy car.
"Alhamdulillah, this time I was able to take part in the health check because the information about the arrival of this healthy car has been conveyed to all residents," she said.
She did not waste the presence of this healthy car. This is because she can carry out free health checks and treatment from PT Timah Tbk.
“Close and free, that's what we feel with the presence of this healthy car owned by PT Timah. Usually we have to seek treatment or have our health checked at Toboali, but sometimes we are constrained by money and transportation. Sometimes if the pain is not severe, we do not carry out examinations or treatment, but if it is severe then we will go for treatment," she said.
Likewise, Suryana (75) also feels the benefits of having a healthy car. So they don't have to go far to check their health.
“Alhamdulillah, this is a gift for us to be able to carry out free and closer examinations and treatment. Because please understand, for now, the economy is still difficult. We also don't go far for treatment," said Suryana.
Meanwhile, the Head of Keposang Village, namely Kenedy Edwardi or often called Afong, said that their residents were very enthusiastic about getting health services at PT Timah Tbk's Health Car.
"We hope that PT Timah will continue to help our village community in any program, especially with this free inspection program. "Hopefully, in the future programs like this will continue to exist and be able to visit our community again," he said.
