*Help from PT Timah Tbk
SELATAN BANGKA - This year's Lunar New Year gave a special impression for Tjhai Tju Yan and Tjhai Kon Nyong residents of Jalan Yos Sudarso, Tanjung Ketapang Village, Toboali District, South Bangka Regency.
During the Chinese New Year in 2022, they received medical equipment assistance from PT Timah Tbk in the form of crutches and wheelchairs. In addition, they also receive medical expenses and basic necessities which are delivered directly to their homes, Monday (31/01/2022).
Tjhai Tju Yan (63) has endured pain for the past eight years due to a constriction of the nerves in his ankle, which makes it difficult for him to walk.
This woman who used to work as a tailor, can't do her activities like before. Now, Tjhai Tju Yan can only do activities like a housewife in general.
"Daily I only take care of the house, such as cooking and cleaning the house," said Tjhai Tju yan.
This middle-aged woman was very happy to receive assistance in the form of crutches, basic necessities, and medical expenses from PT Timah Tbk.
"I am very happy at this year's Lunar New Year, I received assistance from PT Timah, thank you PT Timah for the assistance," said Tjhai Tju Yan.
Similarly, Tjhai Kon Nyong (90), has been a year that he has been a bit difficult to walk. In his daily life, Tjhai Kon Nyong is assisted by his son Amin to carry out activities.
"It's been a year since my mother had difficulty walking, so for daily activities I helped support her to walk," said Amin.
Tjhai Kon Nyong received assistance with a wheelchair, basic necessities, and medical expenses from PT Timah Tbk.
"I am very grateful to get this wheelchair assistance from PT Timah, this assistance is very much needed by my mother, because this wheelchair will make it easier for my mother to go for treatment or take her on trips," said Amin.
Meanwhile, Tanjung Ketapang Fandi appreciated the assistance from PT Timah Tbk which had helped its citizens.
