PANGKALPINANG – PT Timah is once again opening registration for its Scholarship Program at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The registration period for PT Timah's Scholarship Program at SMAN 1 Pemali will run from March 1 to April 17, 2025, and can be completed online at https://ppdb2025.beasiswatimah.com.
Applicants must go through a multi-stage selection process, including administrative screening, field surveys, academic potential tests, psychological assessments, interviews, clinical psychological analysis, document validation, and medical examinations.
Students interested in joining PT Timah's Scholarship Program at SMAN 1 Pemali must meet the specified requirements, such as being no older than 18 years as of July 1, 2025.
Applicants must also prepare several required documents, including a passport-sized photo, a copy of their family card, and proof of financial need (such as a Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP), Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH), or a Certificate of Financial Hardship). Additionally, they need to submit copies of academic and non-academic achievement certificates (if available), legalized report cards from Grade 8 (semesters 1 & 2) and Grade 9 (semester 1), and a handwritten essay explaining their background and aspirations for joining the program.
Other required documents include a photo of the applicant’s home, a statement of good conduct issued by their school, a health declaration, and a declaration of authenticity for all submitted documents.
Eligibility Criteria for PT Timah’s Scholarship Program at SMAN 1 Pemali
- Open to junior high school (SMP/MTs) students graduating in the 2024/2025 academic year from Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Karimun Regency (Riau Islands Province), and Kepulauan Meranti Regency (Riau Province).
- Applicants must be no older than 18 years as of July 1, 2025.
- Submit a 4x6 cm color passport photo (1 copy).
- Provide a copy of the family card (KK).
- Provide a copy of KIP/PKH Certificate or a Certificate of Financial Hardship (SKTM).
- Submit a photo of the applicant's immediate family (parents/guardians and siblings) and copies of achievement certificates (if available).
- Provide a photo of the applicant's home (showing the front, side, back, living room, bathroom, and kitchen) on an A4 page format.
- Write a handwritten essay covering:
- Background and motivation for applying to PT Timah’s Scholarship Program (minimum of 4 paragraphs).
- Academic and non-academic activities the applicant has participated in (inside and outside school).
- Provide a health declaration form (format available on the registration website).
- Maintain a minimum report card score of 75 and meet the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) for Science, Mathematics, English, and Indonesian.
- Submit legalized report cards from Grade 8 (semesters 1 & 2) and Grade 9 (semester 1).
- Submit a Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the school.
- Provide a Declaration of Authenticity for all submitted documents (signed on a Rp. 10,000 stamp duty).

- Applicants who have completed the online registration must submit physical copies of their documents in a sealed envelope if they are from the following regions:
- Bangka
- Pangkalpinang
- Central Bangka
- South Bangka
- West Bangka
- Incomplete or falsified documents will result in disqualification.
- A total of 36 students will be accepted into the PT Timah Scholarship Class at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2025/2026 academic year.
