PANGKALPINANG -- In the midst of the spirit of Labor Day commemoration on May 1, the Timah Employees Association also commemorated its 26th anniversary on May 2. The 26th anniversary celebration of IKT took place hybirdly from Graha Timah Pangkalpinang, Friday (2/5/2025).
In an atmosphere of simplicity and togetherness, the celebration of IKT's 26th Anniversary with the theme 'United Fighting' was attended by IKT members in various regions. This activity was also attended by Division Head General Affairs of PT Timah, Hikmat Slamet who represented the HR Director of PT Timah.
At the 26th Anniversary celebration IKT also launched a website-based application 'We are IKT' which will become a forum for aspirations for members.
This labor union at PT Timah Tbk has for decades been a strategic partner of the Company in supporting the progress of the Company. In today's commemoration, this moment is a reflection of the union's long struggle in guarding workers' rights and fighting for the welfare of its members.
Chairman of the Tin Employees Association, Riki Febriansyah said, as a strategic partner of the company, IKT continues to build a synergistic relationship with the management of PT Timah Tbk to realize the glory of PT Timah.
“IKT certainly continues to make efforts and communication with management to realize the glory of PT Timah by supporting all company policies to achieve the targets that have been determined. And of course the policies issued are not detrimental to employees and companies, “said Riki.
Furthermore, Riki invited all members and employees to continue to ignite the spirit of struggle for the welfare of all employees and the company.
“Whoever will lead PT Timah in the next 5 years, IKT as a strategic partner of the company continues to synergize with management according to the collective agreement contained in the PKB,” he said.
Still in the moment of commemoration of International Labor Day, Riki invited management to always work together to achieve company glory.
“Happy Labor Day, hopefully workers will be more prosperous, we always synergize with management and the policies issued must be beneficial for employees and companies,” he hoped.
Meanwhile, Hikmat Slamet said, IKT as a strategic partner is a partner in thinking, ideas and ideas in one goal to make a real contribution to the progress of the company, shareholders and the country.
“IKT has proven itself as a channel for aspirations, criticism and moral support. Even when the company faced difficult times IKT was at the forefront. The relationship between IKT and management must continue to be maintained in a dynamic communication pattern that is not a matter of agreeing but must agree on the best things for the company,” he said.
