PANGKALPINANG – As a subsidiary of PT Timah Tbk, PT Dok dan Perkapalan Air Kantung (PT DAK) remains committed to becoming the best shipbuilding manufacturer by delivering innovation, quality, and reliability in every product.
This commitment was reaffirmed during the 29th-anniversary celebration of PT DAK, held at PT DAK Bangka Shipyard on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
To mark its 29th anniversary, which fell on February 1, 2025, PT DAK organized a series of events, including social initiatives such as blood donations and community assistance programs.
The anniversary reception was attended by PT Timah Tbk’s Director of Human Resources, Hendra Kusuma Wardana, along with other board members, business partners, CSR beneficiaries of PT DAK, and virtual participants from PT DAK Lombok Shipyard.
On this occasion, Hendra Kusuma Wardana encouraged all employees to foster a sense of belonging and dedication to the company.
"Let us cherish PT DAK as we do our own family, to build unity and strong teamwork," he stated.
Meanwhile, PT DAK President Director Bambang Wibisono highlighted the company's journey over the past 29 years, navigating through challenges and growth in the shipbuilding industry. He emphasized the company's ongoing commitment to making a significant contribution to the global shipyard sector.
"At 29 years old, in line with our theme of collaboration and innovation, PT DAK is determined to prove its quality and commitment to delivering top-tier performance in the global shipbuilding industry," he said.
Bambang also mentioned PT DAK’s plans to expand its market reach and foster collaborations for global expansion.
"With speed and quality as our focus, we aim to broaden our market, collaborate with industry stakeholders, and together step into the global market," he added.
"May PT DAK continue to grow, innovate, and bring positive impact to society in the years to come," he expressed.
The anniversary celebration featured a series of activities, including awarding the best senior employees, distributing aid packages to several elementary schools and orphanages, and concluding with a religious sermon by Ustadz H. Muhammad Kurnia. (*).
