The President Director of PT Timah Tbk Mochtar Riza Pahlevi Thabrani mentioned that the launching is a continuous collaboration between PT Timsh and PT Bank Mandiri Tbk in providing bank service as finance facility for PT Timah suppliers.
"This collaboration has a strategic role because it would increase the production and public welfare," said M. Riza in Tanjungpandan, Belitung, Wednesday (3/3). According to him, this synergy between BUMN can help the corporate partneship pattern by shortening the administration and payment process. Other than that, this system is expected to educate people about the benefits of the saving and its card.
"Hopefully this can be accepted so that the welfare of mining society can be better," he added. Told by Riza, this synergy can be a solution for financing supplier and will be effective for assisting PT Timah in speeding up the payment to suppplier. As a result, it would strengthen the eficiency of liquidity management of PT Timah, also be a supplier's motivation in improving supplies.
In addition, the co-branding debit card is also the right solution to ensure the identity of the recipient supplier and the convenience of suppliers because payments can be made in cash.
"We hope that the existence of a special design co-branding debit card can be used by PT Timah in managing suppliers, especially the community, so that they are encouraged to increase supply to PT Timah," he explained.*
