PANGKALPINANG - PT Timah Tbk together with the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) continues to spread benefits to the community by holding the Sobat Aksi Ramadan programme as a form of sharing happiness and helping people in need in the holy month of Ramadan.
The Sobat Aksi Ramadan 2025 activity initiated by the Ministry of SOEs was held in Bangka Belitung Islands Province, precisely in Mayang Village, West Bangka Regency. The residents of Mayang Village seemed enthusiastic about participating in the series of activities of Sobat Aksi Ramadan, in togetherness the residents and BUMN employees worked together to clean the mosque, starting from inside the mosque to the parking area.
The series of Ramadan Action Buddy activities in Bangka Belitung began with mutual cooperation to clean the mosque, handing over food packages for the elderly, compensation for orphans at Musala Al Mukhbitin, Mayang Village, West Bangka Regency, Friday (14/3/2025).
Sobat Aksi Ramadan 2025 is a moment to share happiness and strengthen friendship in the holy month of Ramadan, while strengthening the role of SOEs as a pillar of social development and a form of SOE concern for the community. In line with President Prabowo's 8th Asta Cita Mission, this programme supports social harmony and increases tolerance among religious communities.
Not only that, in this activity PT Timah employees who are members of Tins Agent also share joy with children by holding coloring activities together and also story telling and providing mementos for the participants.
Mayang Village Head Kasno Susanto appreciated the Ramadan Action Buddy activities held in their village because it was considered very helpful to the community from children to the elderly. Moreover, he said, PT Timah also often helps their community.
“We are grateful that our village has become a concern of PT Timah and the Ministry of SOEs, the residents are so enthusiastic, from parents to children, they feel the benefits of this activity,” said Kasno Susanto.
Similarly, the head of Musala Al Mukhbitin, Juhari, said that this Ramadan Action Friend is a place to strengthen friendship and also share kindness in the month of Ramadan.
"The residents are happy to be assisted with groceries, children's compensation, mutual cooperation and breaking the fast together. We thank PT Timah employees and residents who have cleaned the mosque, now the mosque is clean," he said.
One of the beneficiaries, Ahza Varo (4), a student of Raflesia Early Childhood Center who is an orphan, said she was happy to receive school supplies and compensation.
“Alhamdulillah, I am happy to be given books, crayons, and money to buy Eid clothes,” she said.
The same was conveyed by Usai (66) who admitted that he was very happy and happy to receive food packages from the Ministry of SOEs' Ramadan Action Friend activity with PT Timah
"Alhamdulillah, I am very happy to receive basic food assistance. Moreover, welcoming Eid al-Fitr is very helpful for our economy," he said.
