The series of social and religious activities carried out by PT Timah during Ramadan is a form of the Company's efforts in building harmonization and synergy with employees and the surrounding community.
In addition, social and religious activities carried out during the month of Ramadan are routine programs carried out by PT Timah every year.
A number of programs have been prepared to strengthen togetherness and increase spiritual value during this blessed month including orphan compensation, food package distribution for the people in need and support for houses of worship.
This donation, food package distribution, and support for houses of worship are part of the company's corporate social responsibility program. This support is expected to ease their burden and bring happiness in the month of Ramadan.
In addition, there will also be a Ramadan Safari with fast-breaking activities involving employees, the surrounding community, and other stakeholders. In addition, religious studies will be held to provide spiritual inspiration and increase Islamic understanding.
In the last Ramadan 2024, PT Timah handed over compensation for 200 orphans and orphans and provided support for 22 Quran Tahfiz spread across Bangka Belitung Islands Province and Riau Islands Province.
