PANGKALPINANG -- In an effort to strengthen the culture of integrity and prevent corrupt practices within the company, PT Timah held Tins Series - Corporate Services with the title “Shadow of Gratification: Trapped Unknowingly” which was held virtually, Friday (3/21/2025).
This activity is part of the company's commitment to implementing the principles of good corporate governance (GCG).
PT Timah HR Director Hendra Kusuma Wardana gave opening remarks saying, this webinar is a reminder for Timah personnel to continue to prioritize integrity in carrying out their duties.
“This webinar reminds us about what gratuities are, if we are reminded it does not mean we are violating. Because gratuities take many forms, starting from trivial things that we might take for granted but actually bring mudorat,” he said.
Hendra reminded that gratification has many forms, so that with this webinar Timah personnel will understand more so as not to be trapped in gratification.
“Let's fill Ramadan by reminding each other, report to internal audit if you get or find gratuities. Many have reported, even the reporting of gratuities is quite high among members of the MIND ID Mining Industry holding,” he said.
“This is a small step in improving integrity, internalizing morals to have a positive impact, a culture of learning, and a shared culture to grow,” he said.
The material presented in the webinar includes the definition of gratuities, its types, reporting mechanisms. The participants also asked questions.
The resource person in this webinar, Defryanto, Division Head of Risk Management & Compliance of PT Timah, explained that PT Timah has a clear gratification reporting policy and mechanism that can be accessed by all employees and business partners.
“Reporting related to gratuities can be done through the PT Timah Gratification Control Unit and reporting related to gratuities at PT Timah is quite high, for example related to giving parcels. Reporting can also be done by WBS,” he said.
With this webinar, PT Timah Industri hopes to further strengthen the awareness and commitment of all elements of the company in upholding integrity values. This activity is also a concrete form of the company in supporting government programs in eradicating corruption in the corporate sector.
