Bina Permata Kindergarten Students Prayun Village are Happy to be Able to Learn and See Animals at PT Timah Tbk's Kundur Park

PERAYUN -- Kundur Park is an open area equipped with a mini zoo located at PT Timah Tbk Kundur Production Unit. Kundur Park often becomes a tourist destination for the local community.

Apart from being a recreation area, Kundur Park is also an educational place to get to know biodiversity. Because in Kundur Park PT Timah Tbk carries out conservation to maintain the existing biological ecosystem.

Many people and educational institutions visit Kundur Park for recreation or to learn about the animals in the mini zoo.

At this time, Bina Permata Kindergarten students in Perayun Village seemed happy to visit Kundur Park Mini Zoo owned by PT Timah Tbk, on Thursday (2/11/2023).

The head of TK Bina Permata Rumijati said that their students really enjoyed visiting the mini zoo at Kundur Park because they could see various animals such as deer and rabbits.

"There are also iguanas here as a means of entertainment and education. In Kundur Park there is also a jogging track and sports facilities which are of course interesting for children," she said.

According to her, Mini Zoo Kundur is very suitable for educational tourism, apart from that the facilities and infrastructure are quite complete. So people can relax.

"On Kundur Island, there are no tourist attractions like this. So the people here are very happy and entertained by the Kundur Park Mini Zoo educational tour," she said.

One of the children, Ika Saputri (6) admitted that she was very happy when she visited here because she could see the deer playing and running so they looked cute.

The same thing was expressed by Maryanah, a resident of Perayun Village, North Kundur District, who said she was very happy to have recreation at Kundur Park.

"This is a new tourist attraction and the only one on Kundur Island that has a park and animals such as deer, peacocks, rabbits, and iguanas. We hope that Kundur Park will have more animals and the supporting facilities and infrastructure will be improved," she said. (*)
