Becoming PT Timah Tbk's Foster Partner, Isnaniah's Grocery Store Business Can Meet Consumer Needs

SAWANG -- The convenience store business run by Isnaniah continues to grow after she took advantage of PT Timah Tbk's Micro Small Business Funding (PUMK) program.

Initially, Isnaniah's shop, which has its address on Jalan Pendidikan Layang, Sawang Laut Village, Kundur Barat District, only provided groceries and various basic needs, and even then it was not complete. The reason is that IA lacks the capital to add types of merchandise that suit consumer needs.

However, after she took advantage of PT Timah Tbk's PUMK program, the types of merchandise increased and were able to meet consumer needs. So that the surrounding community does not have to go far to buy household needs.

"At first I had limited capital to add to the variety of merchandise, but the local residents hoped that my shop would provide a lot of daily necessities so they wouldn't go far to the market to buy those needs," she said.

With the request of the neighbors, Isnaniah tried to find ways to get additional capital. So she took advantage of PT Timah Tbk's PUMK program.

Currently, her basic food shop business continues to grow and is already able to meet the needs of the surrounding community such as rice, cooking oil, and others.

"This program is interesting and helps a lot of small businesses like mine because the process is easy and there are no deductions. We can really use the capital to become business capital," she said.

In the future, she hopes that this program can continue so that it can be utilized by MSME players in developing their businesses. (*)
