BANGKA -- Entering the dry season, the PT Timah Fire Department team is on standby to help handle fires that occur in the Company's operational areas.

Previously, the PT Timah Damkar Team in the Pangkalpinang area helped handle the fire in Kampung Bintang, Pangkalpinang City on Monday (12/8/2024).

The North Bangka Regional Fire Department team helped extinguish forest fires that occurred at two points in Belinyu District, Bangka Regency.

The PT Timah Damkar Team in the North Bangka Region helped handle two forest fires that occurred in the Levar Beach tourist area and a forest fire that occurred on the Bongkap temple road, Belinyu District.

The coordinator of the PT Timah North Bangka Region Fire Fighting Team, Kusamanto, said that after receiving the report from Bhabinkamtibmas, his party immediately deployed a team to extinguish the forest fire that occurred.

"The PT Timah Damkar Team handled forest fires that occurred at two points in Belinyu District last Tuesday. Since January there have been five fire incidents handled by the North Bangka regional fire team," said Kusamato.
