SOUTH BANGKA - Residents of South Bangka flocked to the Alluvial Mining Sector 4 office of PT Timah Tbk in Toboali Kota Village, Toboali District, South Bangka Regency to take part in a series of PT Timah Tbk Service Month activities in 2023, Saturday (15/07/2023).
Even though it was raining, this did not reduce the public's interest in participating in the month of service commemorating the 47th anniversary of PT Timah Tbk.172 children participated in this mass circumcision from various regions in South Bangka Regency.
One of the residents whose children took part in PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision, Sumantri (48) was happy that his son's circumcision went smoothly
He appreciated PT Timah Tbk, which has routinely held mass circumcisions and has been eagerly awaited by the public.
"Indeed, we know that PT Timah Tbk has routinely carried out this activity. So our children are also looking forward to this mass circumcision," said Sumantri.
Sumantri was also greatly assisted by this holy month activity. He hopes that this kind of activity can continue to be carried out by PT Timah Tbk.
"We feel helped by this activity, because if we do circumcision independently it costs money, meanwhile if it's free here, not to mention there are souvenirs that we get after being circumcised. Hopefully, in the future this kind of activity can be continued," he hoped.

Meanwhile, the Director of Operations and Production (Dirops) of PT Timah Tbk, Nur Adi Kuncoro, said that initially, the quota for mass circumcision was only 100 children, but seeing high public interest, it was increased to 200 children.
"About 200 children have registered for this mass circumcision from various regions in South Bangka. This activity is free of charge, this is a form of PT Timah's dedication to the community," he said. (*)
