PANGKALPINANG -- Improving the quality of public health in the mining area is one of the concerns of PT Timah Tbk. For this reason, through the CSR program, PT Timah Tbk presents the Healthy Car or Healthy Oto program.
Through healthy cars, PT Timah Tbk seeks to bring health services closer to the people around the mine. Because healthy cars come to the community to the hamlets.
Medio January-June 2023, PT Timah Tbk Health Car has served 1,286 people in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province and Riau Islands Province. Healthy Car has visited 12 locations to provide health services for the community.
Apart from providing health services, through PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car program, this member of the MIND ID mining industry holding also provides additional food for toddlers to prevent and treat stunting.
The presence of the PT Timah Tbk Health Car is always enthusiastically welcomed by the community. Every time about a hundred people come to take advantage of the health services at the PT Timah Tbk Health Car.
A resident of Perayun Village, North Kundur District, Karimun Jennah Regency (85) said he had several complaints such as dizziness, frequent numbness, and joint pain.
So he took advantage of the presence of PT Timah Tbk's Health Car to check his health.
"I am pleased with PT Timah Tbk's healthy car activity at our place. So that we can check ourselves to find out our health conditions. Moreover, we can check blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, uric acid and also consult with a doctor," he said.

"This free health check-up activity is very beneficial for the community, hopefully, those who are sick can recover and hopefully there will be more health checks later," he stated.
