CENTRAL BANGKA – Arwani (53) was touched when she received the arrival of PT Timah Tbk who handed over prosthetic limbs for herself, at his house located in Hamlet II, Nibung Village, Koba District, Central Bangka, Wednesday (13/04/2022).
Since 2020 she has lost her right leg because the amputation due to diabetes, since then she has been unable to carry out her normal activities again.
After her leg was amputated, the woman who worked as a cake seller in this market could only sit and could not move. She is no longer able to support her family's economy.
However, now that she hopes to recover by having a prosthetic leg given by PT Timah Tbk, this mother of four will try to help her family's economy again.
"I don't do anything, if before I was selling, making cakes, empek-empek were sold in the market," said Arwani.
She is grateful to receive the aid of prosthetic limbs from PT Timah Tbk, because this will help her to be able to return to her activities.
"I'm so happy, Thank God. Hopefully this assistance can be useful and suitable for me," she said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Nibung Village, Roni Fahrizal, really appreciates the prosthetic assistance provided by PT Timah Tbk to its residents.
“The assistance given by PT Timah TB to our residents is not the first time. PT Timah often provides assistance to our residents," she said.
