BANGKA -- As part of its commitment to improving human resource quality and driving optimal performance, PT Timah Tbk held the Strategic Alignment: One Vision, One Direction for Merah Putih program for Division Heads within PT Timah Tbk on Wednesday (August 13, 2025) at the Pemali Learning Center, Bangka Regency.
PT Timah organized the Strategic Alignment program as an important moment to unify the vision and strategic direction of all leaders within the company. The event, featuring National Communication Expert and Motivator Dr. Aqua Dwipayana, was enthusiastically welcomed by participants.
The program was designed as part of the company’s commitment to providing strategic insights to leaders in order to strengthen leadership capabilities, align the company’s vision and mission, foster collaborative behavior, and reinforce synergy to achieve the company’s greater goals.
During the Strategic Alignment, participants received material on building effective communication, shaping work culture as a foundation for strengthening integrity and professionalism, the role of leaders in driving company transformation, as well as motivational sessions.
In his opening remarks, PT Timah’s President Director, Restu Widiyantoro, emphasized that the company’s dynamic growth requires strategic steps, particularly in strengthening communication, integrity, and leadership at the division and department levels. This effort is expected to align perspectives and strategies across units, thereby improving the company’s productivity.
“This is part of carrying out the government’s mandate to manage tin mining optimally for the welfare of us all, for the nation, and the country,” said Restu.
The program also highlighted the importance of building competencies in effective communication as the basis for aligning the company’s vision. With strong communication, every initiative and innovation at the divisional level can be synergized to support the optimization of the company’s performance.
“With guidance from a communications expert, this program provides added value. Participants are expected to refresh their understanding of the importance of effective communication culture, a culture of integrity, and a leadership culture aligned with the company’s values,” he added.
According to Restu, this culture is the foundation that will strengthen the company in facing challenges and turning them into opportunities for business sustainability.
“In a business article by Forbes, it is mentioned that companies with strong cultures aligned with their goals tend to have higher productivity. This aligns with the purpose of the Strategic Alignment program, which aims to build a productive work ecosystem that reinforces and synergizes across divisions,” he said.
