PANGKALPINANG -- As a form of appreciation, PT Timah Tbk presented awards to its offshore mining business partners who have contributed to improving the company’s production performance.
The awards were given to 10 PT Timah Tbk business partners in the “Good Category” for their orderly, legal, and productive mining operations in PT Timah’s Special Sector areas during a ceremony held at Graha Timah Pangkalpinang on Wednesday (September 24, 2025).
This recognition reflects PT Timah Tbk’s appreciation for the contributions and collaboration of its partners in supporting the company’s production success. It is also expected to encourage other partners to continue enhancing their performance and productivity.
PT Timah Tbk remains committed to strengthening company performance, including through securing its Mining Business Permits (IUP) by deploying Special Sector Task Forces across several operational areas.
As a member of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding, the company recognizes that mining partners are an integral part of PT Timah’s production chain. Therefore, partners are expected to operate in compliance with regulations, prioritize safety, and protect the environment to deliver greater benefits to both society and the state.

Muhammad Arib Rahmadi, Director of CV Timah Indonesia Perkasa and one of the award recipients, said the recognition motivates them to improve production performance.

He added that they remain committed to assisting PT Timah Tbk in enhancing production performance. The award, he said, serves as an incentive for partners to boost work productivity.
Similarly, Septya Rafiza, Director of CV Gla Berkah Saudara, emphasized the importance of such recognition to motivate partners to contribute to PT Timah’s production goals.
“We are grateful to support PT Timah’s production growth. With this award, we are even more motivated to increase production. Now, becoming a PT Timah partner is much easier through the MCOS system, and the presence of the task force has also helped us. In the past, some operators sold tin illegally, but now 100 percent of production is delivered to us and sold directly to PT Timah,” he said.
This recognition of mining partners is also part of PT Timah’s efforts to promote sustainable mining practices that balance economic, social, and environmental benefits.
