WEST BANGKA - PT Timah Tbk continues to spread benefits in the Holy Month of Ramadan by carrying out various social religious activities. One of them is by providing assistance for Quran teachers.
A total of ten Quranic teachers in West Bangka received ropes from members of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding, PT Timah in Ramadan 1446 Hijri. Assistance for Quranic teachers is a routine program implemented by PT Timah during Ramadan.
Tali asih was handed over in conjunction with the Ramadan safari activities held by the Board of Directors and Commissioners of PT Timah at the PT Timah Guest House in Mentok, West Bangka on Tuesday (3/18/2025).
This assistance to Koran teachers is a form of PT Timah's concern for religious education, where Koran teachers have played a role in broadcasting good teachings.
One of the Quran recitation teachers who received assistance from PT Timah, Maimunah, who is a teacher of TPA Al Huda, was grateful to get the ropes from PT Timah.
“Alhamdulillah, we received assistance from PT Timah during the fasting month and before Eid. Hopefully PT Timah will continue to care about Quran teachers and move forward,” she said.
In addition, according to Maimunah, PT Timah also helped the TPA where she teaches the students.
“So far, we have been given a room next to the Al Huda mosque in the PT Timah Complex,” said Maimunah.
Similarly, Anita, a Quranic teacher, said that PT Timah's assistance was very useful. According to her, this is the first time she has received assistance from PT Timah.
“As a Quran teacher at home, children come to the house to learn the Quran. This is the first time I have received assistance from PT Timah, of course I am grateful and this assistance is useful,” she said.
In the Ramadan safari activities held in West Bangka, in addition to providing assistance for Quran teachers, PT Timah also handed over other social assistance such as assistance for houses of worship, compensation for orphans and orphans.
