TELUK RADANG -- PT Timah's Mobile Health Unit once again provided health services to the community in Kundur Utara Subdistrict, precisely at the Teluk Radang Village Office on Tuesday (30/1/2023).
The presence of PT Timah's Mobile Health Unit in Teluk Radang Village had been eagerly awaited by the residents. A total of 90 people received health check-ups at the Mobile Health Unit. Since morning, residents have shown enthusiasm in registering to receive free health services from the Mobile Health Unit.
One of the residents taking advantage of the free health services, Poniman (67), patiently waited for his turn to undergo a health check-up. He intentionally came for medical treatment.
According to Poniman from Dusun IV, Teluk Radang Village, the distance between his residence and the community health center (Puskesmas) is quite far, approximately 20 kilometers. Hence, they face difficulties in accessing health services.
"I am very happy that PT Timah's mobile health unit came to our village and provided health services. This is very helpful for the people in our village," he said.
He hoped that in the future, PT Timah's mobile health unit would visit their area again, so the community could continue to benefit from health services.
Meanwhile, the Acting Head of Teluk Radang Village, Ismail, expressed appreciation for PT Timah, which implemented the Mobile Health Unit program and visited their village.
Ismail explained that with the presence of PT Timah's Mobile Health Unit, the residents of Teluk Radang Village could access health services, contributing to the overall health of the community.
"For a long time, we have heard about PT Timah's Mobile Health Unit program, and now we are experiencing the benefits of this program. Our residents seem very happy, and the community's response is quite high because many people have mentioned that the medicines are very good and effective," said Ismail.
Meanwhile, Marzuki, the representative of Kundur Utara Subdistrict, stated that PT Timah's Mobile Health Unit had assisted the residents of Teluk Radang Village in receiving free health services.
He mentioned that the distance between Teluk Radang Village and Kundur Utara Subdistrict Health Center is quite far. Thus, with the Mobile Health Unit coming to the village, residents flocked to receive free health services from PT Timah's Mobile Health Unit.
