PANGKALPINANG -- Ahead of the close of 2025, PT TIMAH Tbk shared happiness with communities in its operational areas, particularly orphans and people with disabilities.
The assistance for 200 orphans and people with disabilities was carried out in conjunction with the 2025 Year-End Tin Ingot Signing and Export activities held in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province and the Riau Islands Province on Tuesday (December 30, 2025).
The assistance was symbolically handed over by PT TIMAH Tbk’s Director of Operations Handy Geniardi, Director of Business Development Suhendra Yusuf Ratuprawiranegara, Director of Production and Commercial Ihamsyah Mahendra, and Director of Human Resources Ratih Mayasari.

One of the recipients, Dasya, a resident of Teluk Rubiah, Mentok, West Bangka Regency, said she was very happy to receive assistance from PT TIMAH Tbk.
“I’m very happy to receive assistance from PT TIMAH Tbk. It can be used for school supplies,” she said.
According to her, this was not the first time she had received assistance from PT TIMAH Tbk. Previously, she had also often received assistance from the company during major religious holidays such as Eid.
“I often receive assistance from PT TIMAH Tbk. For example, before Eid, I also received help from PT TIMAH Tbk. Thank you, PT TIMAH Tbk. I hope the company continues to care for the community,” she said.
Similarly, Haykal, a person with disabilities and a resident of Sungai Baru, expressed his happiness upon receiving assistance from PT TIMAH Tbk.
“I’m very happy, thank you,” said Haykal, who has an intellectual disability.
Haykal’s parent, Edah, expressed gratitude that PT TIMAH Tbk provided assistance for her child. According to her, this was the first time her child had received such assistance.
“Thank you to PT TIMAH Tbk for providing assistance to our child. We hope PT TIMAH Tbk continues to grow and succeed,” she said.
