WEST BANGKA – To help meet the food needs of the community ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri, PT Timah distributed basic food packages to residents of Belo Laut Village, Mentok District, West Bangka Regency.
The food aid packages from PT Timah were distributed by the Belo Laut Village Government to beneficiaries on Monday (24/3/2025).
One of the recipients, Martini, a resident of Belo Laut Village, expressed her joy upon receiving the food package.
"Alhamdulillah, I am so happy to receive this food assistance, especially in this economic situation, and the timing is perfect just before Eid, so it helps," she said.
Similarly, Widiawati was delighted when she received the food package from PT Timah.
"I didn't expect to receive food assistance from PT Timah. This is very helpful, especially with Eid just around the corner," she said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Belo Laut Village, Ibnu, mentioned that the residents were very enthusiastic about receiving the food packages from PT Timah.
"When distributing the aid, the residents were very excited to receive it, especially since Eid is approaching, which certainly helps their economy," he said.
He appreciated PT Timah’s role in frequently assisting the community during various occasions, including religious holidays and disasters.
"PT Timah also assisted in the recent flood disaster. Thank you for PT Timah’s continuous support and concern. Hopefully, PT Timah’s business will continue to grow and prosper," he added. (*)
