WEST KUNDUR -- Welcoming Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah, PT Timah continues to spread happiness by distributing basic food packages to the community in the company's operational areas.
A total of 480 basic food packages were distributed to people in the Kundur area. It is hoped that this assistance can help meet the community's needs ahead of Eid.
The Head of South Sawang Village, Suyatno, appreciated the assistance of basic food packages for the community.
"Of course, this will help ease the community's economy in meeting needs ahead of Eid al-Fitr. Hopefully, this assistance will provide blessings for all of us, and PT Timah will be given an abundance of good fortune," he said.
One of the aid recipients, Rabi'ah (68), a resident of Sawang Laut, said that this aid helped him to meet his daily needs.
"I feel happy and happy to get a basic food package from PT Timah, because it is very helpful in the midst of a difficult economy, especially before Eid al-Fitr, I feel very helped. I pray that the company will be given convenience and good fortune," he said.
Similar to what the Village Head Kundur Marhalim said, according to him PT Timah plays a very active role in helping and caring for the community.
