Ahead of Eid al-Adha 2026, PT TIMAH Distributes Hundreds of Sacrificial Animals Across Operational Areas

PANGKALPINANG — PT TIMAH once again demonstrated its commitment to sharing happiness with communities ahead of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah/2026 by distributing sacrificial animals to the public.

This year, PT TIMAH will distribute 268 sacrificial cows across the company’s operational areas in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Riau Province, Riau Islands Province, and Jakarta.

The sacrificial animal assistance program is part of the company’s annual agenda under its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program for communities surrounding its operational areas.

The hundreds of sacrificial cows will later be distributed to places of worship, community groups, and various other community elements so that the benefits can be widely felt during the Eid al-Adha celebration.

Department Head of Corporate Communication of PT TIMAH, Anggi Siahaan, stated that the distribution of sacrificial animals reflects the company’s concern for the community while also strengthening harmonious relations with society.

According to Anggi, Eid al-Adha is a momentum to reinforce the values of togetherness, solidarity, and social care within society.

“The distribution of sacrificial animals is part of the company’s annual routine program, continuously carried out as a form of the company’s gratitude and concern. Through this activity, PT TIMAH aims to be closer to the community and share happiness during the Eid al-Adha celebration,” Anggi said.

He added that the program also forms part of the company’s commitment to continuously providing tangible contributions to communities within its operational areas.

“We hope the sacrificial animal assistance distributed will bring benefits to the community while strengthening ties between the company and society,” he added.

In implementing the program, PT TIMAH also collaborates with its subsidiaries and local livestock breeders to fulfill the sacrificial animal requirements. This initiative also serves as an effort by the company to support the local economy and empower local breeders in operational areas.

Previously, PT TIMAH has consistently distributed sacrificial animal assistance every year. During Eid al-Adha 2025, the company distributed 256 sacrificial animals to communities across three provinces within its operational areas. (*)
