BATAM -- As many as 16 students from Karimun and Meranti Islands Regencies who have passed the administrative selection of the PT Timah Tbk Scholarship Class Program at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2023/2024 Academic Year took the academic and psychological potential tests which were held at the Asia Link Hotel Meeting Room by Parasanthy Tuesday - Wednesday (23 - 24/5/2023).
Apart from taking the potential academic test, these students also underwent psychological tests, interviews, clinical psychology, and document validation.
One of the participants, Dewi Fadillah from Karimun Regency, said that she had made various preparations to take this test to pass the selection.
Dewi said that she was also nervously waiting for the test results to be announced, even though she was able to complete all the tests given.
"I have made efforts to study and now I always pray so that I can qualify and get the PT Timah Tbk scholarship," she said.
According to her, she really hopes that she can pass this test so that later she can be accepted. So that later it can help parents in reducing the cost of education.
"After taking yesterday's exam in Batam, Dewi felt nervous waiting for the results to come out," she said.
In carrying out the PT Timah Tbk Scholarship Class Program PPDB at SMAN 1 Pemali, apart from the selection committee, PT Timah Tbk also involved the PT Timah Tbk CSR Division Team and board members of the PT Timah Tbk Scholarship Class Program dormitory.
PT Timah Tbk also cooperates with the Psychology Innovation Center (PIP) of Padjadjaran University to conduct tests such as psychological tests, interviews, and clinical psychology.
The PPDB tests for the PT Timah Tbk Scholarship Class Program at SMAN 1 Pemali are free and carried out transparently and accountable.
