BANGKA — A total of 36 students have been declared successful in the Academic Potential Test, Psychotest, Interview, Clinical Psychology Analysis, and Document Validation stages for the PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program at State Senior High School 1 Pemali for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
The announcement of the selection results was stated in Announcement Number 05/SPMB.TIMAH Tbk/V/2026 regarding the results of the New Student Admission System (SPMB) Selection for the PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program, announced on Monday (25/5/2026).
The PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program is one of the company’s commitments to supporting the improvement of human resource quality, particularly for outstanding students in the company’s operational areas.
The selection process was conducted through several rigorous stages, including administrative tests, Academic Potential Tests, psychotests, interviews, clinical psychology analysis, and document validation. The process was carried out based on recommendations from the psychologist team of PT Pijar Integra Psikologi Universitas Padjadjaran (PIP UNPAD).
The PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program prioritizes outstanding students from low-income families. This reflects the company’s effort to reduce school dropout rates.
Participants who passed the selection will next undergo Health Tests as part of the final stage of the admission process for the PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program.
Department Head of Corporate Communication of PT TIMAH, Anggi Siahaan, stated that the scholarship class program has been running since 2000 and continues through 2026 as part of the company’s commitment to realizing Indonesia's Golden Generation 2045.
“Participants who have passed this stage will later undergo health tests to be conducted in Bangka Island, Belitung Island, and Karimun Regency. We hope those who pass can make the most of this opportunity to develop their potential and achieve excellence,” he said.
He added that the selection process was conducted objectively and professionally by involving an independent team of psychologists to ensure that selected students are ready to participate in the scholarship class development program.
“The selection is conducted through various stages to ensure that selected participants truly possess academic readiness, strong mentality, and good character. This program not only focuses on academic achievement, but also on character building and student discipline,” he said.
