PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah Tbk has taken swift action to implement recovery measures following a demonstration that resulted in damage to several company assets. The recovery process is being carried out comprehensively, covering both internal systems and affected infrastructure, to ensure that the company’s operations can return to normal.
PT Timah Tbk Corporate Secretary, Rendi Kurniawan, confirmed that all essential functions have been restored while maintaining security, safety, and compliance with applicable regulations.
“The recovery efforts are focused on two main aspects: stabilizing operational systems and repairing affected physical facilities. Our company moved quickly to ensure that all systems and activities continue running, and as of today, operations have returned to normal,” said Rendi.
The company has deployed technical teams to inventory damaged assets and infrastructure and assess the extent of the damage. Repairs are being carried out in stages, prioritizing efficiency and timeliness.
Furthermore, Rendi explained that communication and coordination systems between units have been strengthened to ensure that all of the company’s strategic activities continue without significant disruption.
“The company is committed to maintaining operational stability so that there are no adverse impacts on business partners, the community, or other stakeholders,” he added.
Rendi also apologized to business partners and related parties for any delays or disruptions in operations caused by the incident.
“We sincerely apologize to all our business partners for any disruptions to operations due to this incident. The systems are now gradually returning to normal,” he said.
Rendi emphasized that the entire recovery process is being carried out in accordance with standard procedures and occupational safety regulations. PT Timah remains committed to delivering optimal performance and maintaining the continuity of economic activities in its operational areas.
