EAST BELITUNG - PT Timah Tbk distributed assistance to improve the basketball court infrastructure at Handayani Manggar Vocational High School, East Belitung Regency.
Representatives of PT Timah Tbk and the Chairperson of the East Belitung DPRD Fezzi Uktolseja handed over the assistance directly to the Head of Handayani Manggar Vocational School Elly Susanti, Wednesday (08/02/2023).
"We will use the assistance to repair the basketball court," said Elly Susanti.
According to Elly, the basketball court is currently in a badly damaged condition, even though the school really needs the field.
Moreover, the number of students in the school is 110 people consisting of 6 classes.
"So the field is used by the students for sports," he said.
Therefore, with PT Timah Tbk's assistance, they are very grateful because at this time they are constrained by funds to improve sports facilities and infrastructure.
This is because in the 15 years he has served at the school, the basketball court has never been repaired.
"This assistance is very useful for us, because we are also constrained by funds for this repair," he explained.
He hopes that he can help them with school needs such as blackboards and others.
"We thank you very much for helping," he said.
