EAST BELITUNG - Nujau Lestari KB Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in Gantung Village, Gantung District, Belitung Regency was able to increase the number of students after receiving assistance to renovate an educational building from PT Timah Tbk some time ago.
In 2021, PAUD KB Nujau Lestari could only accommodate 35 students, but in 2022 it can increase the capacity of students to 48 people.
"Alhamdulillah, my praise and gratitude go to Allah SWT, because it is thanks to His grace and grace that PAUD KB Nujau Lestari received help and support from PT Timah Tbk," said the Head of PAUD Nujau Lestari Rosdiah.
Rosdiah said, with the renovation and assistance provided by PT Timah Tbk, the roof leaked and the walls of the study room were not clean at first.
"Now, thank God, everything is clean and the roof is no longer leaking. Our institution is carrying out Accreditation, and on December 27, 2021 PAUD KB Nujau Lestari Accredited with a grade B," she explained.
According to Rosdiah, most of the Nujau Lestari KB PAUD students came from the local area, namely Ganse Hamlet, Gantung Village and a small number came from Lenggang and Selingsing Villages.
"Currently the study rooms for our students are divided into three study classes, namely, Class A aged 4-5 years with a total of 20 students and Class B Study rooms which are divided into classes B1 and B2, B1 is at school and B2 is on board. learn TPA," she explained.
She added, currently the PAUD KB Nujau Lestari educational institution has six teaching staff, consisting of the school principal, secretary, treasurer and 3 educators.
"Currently, 2 educators are currently studying for S1 PAUD Semester 1 to add knowledge and knowledge that will be applied to students," she said.
