BELITUNG -- Annida Shafa Mahfudzah’s academic achievements have opened the door for her to continue her education, which she had considered postponing due to financial constraints. In recognition of her accomplishments, PT TIMAH is providing financial support for her education, enabling her to pursue a bachelor’s degree and continue through the professional nursing program.
Annida, a native of Tanjungpandan, Belitung Regency, previously completed a three-year Diploma in Nursing at the Belitung Nursing Study Program of Poltekkes Kemenkes Pangkalpinang. She graduated as one of the institution’s top students with a cumulative GPA of 3.96, earning magna cum laude honors.
“At first, I simply tried to do my best throughout college. I never put off assignments, regularly consulted with my lecturers, and always gave my best effort. Thank God, I never expected to become one of the top graduates,” Annida said.
Becoming one of the top graduates was not the end of Annida’s educational journey. After completing her diploma, she planned to continue her studies at a higher level.
However, her family’s financial circumstances led her to consider postponing her education. Her parents, who live in Tanjungpandan, Belitung, run a small grocery store to support the family.
As the youngest of four siblings, Annida understands her family’s financial situation. She had even considered working first to save money before continuing her education.
Amid these circumstances, educational support from PT TIMAH became a meaningful opportunity for Annida. Through this assistance, she can pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Bandung and later continue to the professional nursing program.
