GEMURUH -- In support of expediting the construction of the Musala at Al Kauthar Islamic Boarding School in Gemuruh Village, Kundur Barat District, Karimun Regency, PT Timah Tbk has delivered assistance to the management of Al Kauthsar Islamic Boarding School on Monday (12/11/2023).
The manager of Al Kautsar Islamic Boarding School, Khairi, stated that the assistance from PT Timah Tbk would be used to help complete the construction of the Musala at their boarding school.
"I, representing the management and the students, express our heartfelt gratitude for this assistance. Hopefully, with this aid, the construction of the Musala at our Islamic Boarding School can be completed quickly," he said.
Khairi mentioned that although the Musala is still under construction, it is already being used by students for worship activities such as Quranic studies. However, rain is often a challenge that can disrupt the teaching and learning process.
"This is the second time PT Timah has assisted, and we feel very fortunate to receive attention from the company. We, from the Al Kauthar Islamic Boarding School Foundation in Gemuruh Village, always pray for the continued success of PT Timah," he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of Gemuruh Village, Ari, expressed appreciation for PT Timah Tbk's assistance and attention to the management of Al Kauthar Islamic Boarding School, which is expected to help expedite the Musala construction process that is currently underway, allowing it to be used by students and the surrounding community to the fullest.
"On behalf of the residents of Gemuruh Village, I express thanks to PT Timah for the assistance provided. The construction of the Musala is currently ongoing, and we hope it can be completed soon for use by students and the surrounding community to the fullest," he said.
Similarly, the Head of Kundur Barat Subdistrict, Yusufian, stated that PT Timah Tbk often supports social and community activities in their region as a form of the company's care for the people of Kundur Barat.
