WEST BANGKA -- Auyah (67) was happy when she received assistance for building a house from PT Timah Tbk, Friday (10/2/2023). The woman who is often called Grandma Auyah some time ago experienced a house fire.
As a result of this disaster, Grandma Auyah no longer has a home. She can only hope for the help of benefactors to help rebuild her house, which was razed to the ground after being engulfed in the red rooster.
Auya's grandmother, who lives with her child, said that she only found out that her house had been devoured by a red rooster after returning from the fields.
"At the time of the incident, my grandmother was picking rice in the fields, then I received news from the villagers, after returning home the fire had been destroyed," he said.
He was lucky, after the disaster he got sympathy from various parties to rebuild his house. Assistance for him continues to flow from companies such as PT Timah Tbk, the Government, the community, and individuals.
"Grateful, there are lessons from this disaster. Thank God, after the fire, many helped grandma, to rebuild grandma's house. Thank you to everyone who helped grandma," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Peradong Village, Haidir Maulana, who accompanied Grandma Auya, said that PT Timah's assistance was really needed by Grandma Auyah.
"Because currently the rebuilding of Auyah's grandmother's house is being carried out. PT Timah's assistance is certainly very much needed, of course with the help of PT Timah and other parties it can speed up the construction of Auyah's grandmother's house," said Haidir. (*)
