PELAMBUNG -- PT Timah Tbk handed over financial assistance to complete the construction of a prayer room at SD Negeri 011 Tebing, Karimum Regency.
This assistance was handed over directly to the Principal of SD Negeri 011 Tebing Rahmad on Friday (17/11/2023).
Rahmad said that assistance from PT Timah Tbk would be used to purchase materials such as ceramics, cement and others in order to speed up the construction of the prayer room.
He hopes that in the future, with assistance from PT Timah Tbk, he can speed up the completion of the prayer room so that it can be immediately used by residents at the school and the surrounding community.
"We feel pleased with the attention and assistance from the company. We hope that in the future the company can further develop so that the community can feel the positive impact of the company's existence," hoped Rahmad.
Likewise, Adam, one of the residents around the SD Negeri 011 Tebing school, expressed his joy with the assistance from PT Timah Tbk so that the work on building the prayer room could run smoothly.
"The construction of this prayer room has been going on for quite a long time due to budget constraints so construction has been hampered," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Tebing Khaidir Subdistrict expressed his appreciation for PT Timah Tbk's concern for helping the community in the operational area so that the company's contribution can be felt directly.
"For this reason, I invite all the people of Tebing District to work together to protect PT Timah Tbk and support its operational activities so that the company's existence has a positive impact on the community," he said. (*)
