EAST BELITUNG - PT Timah Tbk Assisted in the Construction of the Al-Mahmud Musala Highway Manggar Dusun Pancor II Padang Manggar Village.
This assistance will be used by the construction committee to purchase building materials, so as to accelerate the construction of the prayer room.
Chairman of the Al-Mahmud Musala Foundation, Ferizal said the construction of a prayer room at that location was because the distance between places of worship, both mosques and prayer rooms, was quite far.
So, the surrounding community looked for land for the construction of a prayer room, then there was land belonging to the people of Beltim, but now living in Solo, the family is willing to donate the land for the construction of the Al-Mahmud prayer room.
"So the land is waqf and all the documents have been completed, so we immediately build the prayer room," said Ferizal.
According to Ferizal, currently around 60 percent of the construction has been going on for the main building, but there are still many other buildings that need to be erected.
In addition to worship, the prayer room area will also be used for religious studies such as TPA and others.
"So there will be facilities or learning facilities there," he said.
His party appreciated PT Timah Tbk for helping the construction of the prayer room they were building.
"We thank PT Timah Tbk for helping the construction of the prayer room, and we hope that there will be more assistance in the future," he said.
Meanwhile, the village head of Padang Izhar appreciated the assistance from PT Timah Tbk, to help build the Al-Mahmud prayer room in their village.
