PANGKALPINANG -- As many as 63 students who registered for the PT Timah Tbk Scholarship Class at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2023/2024 Academic Year were declared to have passed the administrative selection on Monday (8/5/2023).
The participants who passed this administrative selection came from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Riau Islands Province, and Riau Islands Province.
PT Timah Tbk Scholarship Class New Student Registration Program (PPDB) has been closed since Friday 5 May 2023. A total of 257 students enrolled in this program. The number of students enrolling this year has increased by 50 percent compared to last year.
The students who have passed the administrative selection will take a series of tests such as academic potential tests, psychological tests, interviews, clinical psychology, and document validation which will be held on May 19-23.
The test will be carried out according to the schedule announced by the PT Timah Tbk Scholarship Class PPDB selection committee at SMAN 1 Pemali.
Announcement of the results of the administrative selection has been announced via the PPDB Website page and other information regarding the PT Timah Tbk Scholarship Class PPDB selection will be announced on that page.
"Congratulations to those who have passed the administrative selection, don't be discouraged for those who haven't passed. There are still many other opportunities. Participants who have passed the administrative selection should immediately prepare to take the next test," said the Head of Corporate Communications, PT Timah Tbk Anggi Siahaan.
Anggi said the PT Timah Tbk Scholarship Class PPDB selection was carried out in a transparent and accountable manner. The selection committee involved the Education Office of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Representatives of SMAN 1 Pemali, PT Timah Tbk's CSR Division Team, and PT Timah Tbk Scholarship class dormitory administrators.
He added, PT Timah Tbk also collaborated with the Center for Psychological Innovation (PIP) of Padjadjaran University to conduct tests such as psychological tests, interviews, and clinical psychology.
"All tests are carried out free of charge and students can continue to monitor all information through the PPDB Website page," said Anggi.
