PANGKALPINANG -- Registration for the Pemali Boarding School Scholarship Program Class at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2024/2025 Academic Year was enthusiastically welcomed by participants from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province and the Riau Islands Province.
A total of 211 participants registered for the Pemali Boarding School Scholarship Class at SMAN 1 Pemali for the 2024/2025 academic year after it opened on April 1-25.
The details of the registrants are 7 people from Pangkalpinang City, 67 people from Bangka Regency, 34 people from Central Bangka Regency, 38 people from West Bangka, 33 people from South Bangka, 5 people from Belitung, 12 people from East Belitung, 12 people from Karimun and 3 people from Meranti.
Participants who register will take a series of tests such as administration, field surveys, academic potential tests, psychological tests, interviews, clinical psychology analysis, document validation, and health tests.
The results of this administrative selection will be announced on April 29, which will be carried out by a selection team consisting of PT Timah and the Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Education Service.
Through this high school level scholarship program, members of the MIND ID Mining Industry aim to improve the quality of communities around the mine and reduce the school dropout rate.
This program is intended for students who excel and are economically disadvantaged. So with this education, it is hoped that it will be able to improve the level of education and the family economy.
