PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah held a warm and heartfelt farewell and welcoming event for its Board of Commissioners and Directors at Graha Timah Pangkalpinang on Wednesday evening (May 21, 2025).
The event was a gesture of appreciation for the dedication of the outgoing board members and a warm welcome for the new leadership who will carry forward the company's mission.
During this moment of togetherness, PT Timah personnel expressed gratitude to the outgoing Commissioners and Directors and extended a warm welcome to the new ones.
PT Timah Commissioner Agus Rohman stated that organizational changes are part of efforts to enhance the company’s role and contribution to the nation. He expressed optimism that, with the support and capabilities of the directors and employees, PT Timah could continue to improve its performance.
"Let’s work together. I’m optimistic that with the expertise of the directors and employees in their respective fields, we can do our best for this country," he said.
Meanwhile, M. Alfan Baharudin, who served as PT Timah Commissioner from 2020 to May 2025, shared a few messages for the new board, encouraging them to maintain and enhance the company's achievements.
"Keep up the strong performance, especially in terms of return on assets. I believe that with successful operational performance, PT Timah will continue to thrive," he said.
President Director of PT Timah Tbk, Restu Widiyantoro, expressed hope for support from all levels of the company in reaching shared goals and improving the company’s performance.
On this occasion, Restu also appreciated the dedication and contributions of the previous board members who led PT Timah to many accomplishments.
"We are grateful for this warm and extraordinary welcome—it truly inspires us. As a new member of the PT Timah family, I hope for guidance, prayers, and support so we can all do our best to improve the company’s performance and employee welfare," he said.
Additionally, former President Director of PT Timah (2023–May 2, 2025), Ahmad Dani Virsal, who has worked at PT Timah for 28 years, shared his reflections and expressed optimism about the company’s future.
"I’m confident that under Mr. Restu’s leadership, PT Timah will continue to improve. I believe in the potential and strength of our employees to safeguard the company," he said.
He also acknowledged the dedication and hard work of the entire PT Timah team—including commissioners, directors, and employees—in striving to boost company performance.
In addition to speeches and the exchange of souvenirs, the event featured a friendly gathering and a collective prayer, symbolizing hope for strong and continued leadership.
