Carrying the theme “Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia,” this year’s 81st Independence Day commemoration served as a momentum for all PT TIMAH employees to strengthen the spirit of unity and nationalism, while making their best contributions to the nation and country.
At PT TIMAH’s headquarters, the ceremony was held solemnly. PT TIMAH (Persero) Director of Production and Commercial, Ilhamsyah Mahendra, served as the ceremony inspector and led the series of Independence Day commemorations attended by employees.
The enthusiasm of the employees was reflected in their discipline and solemnity throughout the ceremony. The occasion was not only a form of respect for the services of the heroes who fought for Indonesia’s independence, but also a reminder of the importance of maintaining the spirit of unity in carrying out duties and responsibilities.
Independence Day ceremonies were also held in PT TIMAH’s operational areas. The activities were attended by employees across various company work locations as part of the series of events commemorating the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk President Director, Restu Widiyantoro, said that the 81st Independence Day commemoration was also an opportunity to reflect on the role of every individual in filling the meaning of independence. The spirit of struggle demonstrated by the nation’s predecessors is expected to be continued through hard work, integrity, professionalism, and tangible contributions in carrying out their duties.
“Independence does not stop at ceremonial activities. The values of unity and mutual cooperation are expected to continue to be applied in the company’s activities, so that they can support performance achievements while providing greater benefits and contributions to society and the nation,” said Restu.
