50th Anniversary of PT TIMAH: Community Service Month in Jakarta Features Free Circumcision, Blood Donation, and Health Check-Up Services

JAKARTA -- In celebration of its 50th Anniversary, PT TIMAH Tbk continues to deliver meaningful benefits to the community through its Community Service Month, which was held in Jakarta on Thursday (August 6, 2026). Following successful programs across the company's operational areas in the Bangka Belitung Islands and the Riau Islands, the series of social initiatives continued at PT TIMAH's Representative Office in Jakarta.

Carrying the theme "Tin for the People," PT TIMAH provided integrated healthcare services, including free mass circumcision, free medical check-ups, and blood donation drives. The program reflects the company's ongoing commitment to supporting communities through initiatives that provide direct and tangible benefits.

A total of 23 children participated in the free mass circumcision program. The procedures were carried out by professional medical personnel through PT TIMAH's collaboration with Rumah SunaTech, ensuring that every procedure was safe, comfortable, and met established healthcare standards.

In addition to receiving free circumcision services, each participant also received a package of school supplies as part of the company's commitment to supporting children's educational needs.

One of the parents, Risnawati, a resident of East Jakarta, expressed her gratitude for the program.

"We are truly grateful and greatly helped by PT TIMAH's free mass circumcision program. The services were excellent, and the medical staff treated the children with great care, making us as parents feel comfortable and reassured. Thank you to PT TIMAH for your concern and support," she said.

The free medical check-up services also received an enthusiastic response from the public. A total of 107 residents took advantage of the opportunity to have their health conditions examined while consulting with medical professionals about maintaining a healthy lifestyle as a preventive measure against various diseases.

Erika, one of the health check-up participants, said the program was extremely beneficial because it allowed community members to monitor their health without incurring significant medical expenses.

"I am very grateful for this free health check-up program. Visiting a hospital can be quite expensive. Besides learning about my health condition, I also received valuable advice from the medical team on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I hope PT TIMAH continues to grow and that programs like this will continue in the future," she said.

As part of the 50th Anniversary Community Service Month, PT TIMAH also organized a blood donation drive, which attracted 68 donors consisting of company employees, members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and members of the general public.

The blood donation initiative is expected to help meet blood supply needs for patients requiring transfusions while strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation, solidarity, and social responsibility within the community.

Through its 50th Anniversary Community Service Month, PT TIMAH continues to reaffirm its role not only as a business enterprise but also as a company committed to improving the quality of life in the communities it serves through a wide range of corporate social responsibility programs in healthcare, education, and social welfare.
